How many times have you seen the word “budget” written in the same sentence as the name of the latest rugged Apple smartwatch? Not that many, I’m sure, and while Woot still doesn’t sell the Apple Watch Ultra 2 at a comparable price with the “mainstream” Apple Watch Series 10 (let alone the dirt-cheap Apple Watch SE 2), this absolute tank of a cellular-equipped intelligent timepiece is almost impossible to turn down right now.
That’s because you can pay just $529.99 for a “grade A” refurbished unit with a super-handsome black titanium case, matching black ocean band, and most importantly, a one-year seller warranty… if you hurry. In theory, the aforementioned Amazon-owned e-tailer plans to keep this phenomenal new deal going until Saturday, June 14, but the undoubtedly limited inventory could be completely wiped out in a matter of hours.

That’s basically what happened a couple of weeks ago, when the same product was sold by the same retailer (in a different color) at an even lower price with an even lengthier warranty included. So, yeah, this is technically a worse deal, but not by much and it still beats all comparable offers currently available on Amazon for both brand-new and “renewed” Apple Watch Ultra 2 units.
As evidenced in our comprehensive Apple Watch Ultra 2 review back in the fall of 2023, this is not a vastly different device from its 2022 predecessor, but all the little improvements and refinements make a strong value proposition even stronger… especially at 530 bucks.
That price includes standalone 4G LTE connectivity in addition to a super-robust titanium construction, impressively bright (and large, and sharp) Retina display, excellent battery life (at least by Apple Watch standards), industry-leading water and dust resistance, not to mention all of the most advanced health monitoring tools in today’s wearable landscape.
Yes, a presumably even better Apple Watch Ultra 3 is likely right around the corner, but for the time being, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 remains the absolute best smartwatch an iPhone owner can buy for both indoor and outdoor usage. Just make sure you hurry and place your Woot order before it’s too late!

Other Samsung Phones to Consider Photograph: Julian Chokkattu If you don’t see a Samsung phone mentioned in this guide, that might be because it’s not sold in the US and is a little harder to source for testing. But here are a few other Samsung phones I’ve tried to consider. Samsung Galaxy A36 5G for…
Joe Maring / Android Authority TL;DR Android 16 QPR1 Beta 1 introduces a background blur effect in the app drawer, keyguard, and other areas. Activating Battery Saver will disable the background blur effect. Background blur consumes more power, so the setting turns the feature off. Google rolled out the much-anticipated first public beta for Android…
If you’re looking for a versatile new that isn’t exclusive to a particular platform, 8BitDo’s various pads are always worth considering. And Amazon’s on the brand’s Ultimate 2C Wireless Controller is nearly the cheapest we’ve seen. Right now, if you pick up the controller in either its Purple or Green colorways, you’ll pay $25.49, as…
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is now available in the US as the pre-order period ended on Friday. That means no more free storage upgrade, but it also opens a path for some discounts. Amazon pairs the S25 Edge with a $50 gift card and, if you buy the 512GB model, you will also get…
