Plot twist: iQOO Z10 Lite will be powered by a Dimensity chip, not Snapdragon

Last week, iQOO announced that it would unveil the iQOO Z10 Lite on June 18 with a 6,000 mAh battery under the hood. The brand didn’t share any other specs, but it had tagged Snapdragon India’s account in its X post (which still exists), suggesting the Z10 Lite would be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chip. However, in an interesting turn of events, iQOO has announced that the Z10 Lite will have MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 SoC at the helm.

The teasers dropped by iQOO’s Indian branch on X also reveal the Z10 Lite will have an IP64 rating and feature a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Additionally, iQOO announced that the Z10 Lite will feature a 50MP Sony camera on the rear, joined by a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, there will be a 5MP camera on the front. The Z10 Lite will come with a few AI-based tools, including AI Erase, AI Photo Enhance, and AI Document Mode.

iQOO hasn’t revealed the number of memory configurations the Z10 Lite will come in but said the smartphone would be available in Titanium Blue and Cyber Green colors.
